The two native Tucsonans that founded Haus Photo Co. met clear across the country in Rochester, NY while studying photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Brett and Cory’s diligent practice and critical eyes mutually developed one another’s work in school and sparked a great friendship. After both returning to Tucson years later the two both found themselves working in real estate media for a few years and decided to venture into another project together and started Haus Photo Co. in 2020.
Brett Starr
Brett picked up a camera for the first time when he was 10 and has been making pictures ever since. In 2013 while attending Pima Community College for Business Administration he took an analog photo one course which ignited his passion for photography. After completing his Business Associates degree he transferred to the Rochester Institute of Technology to advance his skills in photography further and complete his BFA in Photography in 2018. Brett has been working in real estate media since 2018.
Cory Fitzgerald
Cory has been avidly photographing for the past 15 years. His practice in photography began with one of his first loves, skateboarding. Cory studied photography in college from 2008 to 2016. He received his MFA in photography from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2016. He has taught college courses in video photography and has been working in real estate since 2017.
